Nylon Fundamentals
This course discusses the characteristics of carpet fiber, and how they impact carpet performance. The course begins with a history of manmade fibers and steps through fiber manufacturing from the oil well to the finished product. Fiber properties are discussed, such as cross-section, luster, denier, static control as well as nylon comparisons, and how they relate to the overall carpet performance.
Where Colors Collide- 2010 Color Folio
The trends this year are on refocusing- honesty of materials, earth found and artisan made. For the colors of 2010, we built a foundation of “hue” or “color infused neutrals”. In today’s market…our color forecast is based on sensibility and versatility- it’s the economy of neutrals with personality added with accents.
